Pre-Licensing Course

NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION & CODE OF ETHICS:

This course is designed for new members to learn more about services and value added to their membership with the Greater Tyler Board of REALTORS®(GTAR), Texas REALTORS® (TR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

As a primary member of the Greater Tyler Board of REALTORS® this course is required. Attending New Member Orientation fulfills the first year NAR REALTOR® Code of Ethics requirement. New REALTORS® will learn about member services, NAR Code of Ethics, TR benefits, advocacy, member profiles, safety, association governance and educational programming that will provide a foundation towards a successful business in real estate.

CE CLASSES:

We offer Continued Education Classes year round at discounted prices for members. License holders must meet Continuing Education (CE) requirements during each two- year license period. CE must include 4 hours of Legal Update I, 4 hours of Legal Update II, 3 hours of Contract-Related coursework, and 7 hours of elective CE courses for a total of 18 hours.
