As a REALTOR®, you are always looking for ways to separate yourself from the competition, and designations are a great way to do that. There are dozens of different professional designations and certifications that you can earn through course work to suit your specific interests and needs. NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION & CODE OF ETHICS:
This course is designed for new members to learn more about services and value added to their membership with the Greater Tyler Board of REALTORS®(GTAR), Texas REALTORS® (TR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
As a primary member of the Greater Tyler Board of REALTORS® this course is required. Attending New Member Orientation fulfills the first year NAR REALTOR® Code of Ethics requirement. New REALTORS® will learn about member services, NAR Code of Ethics, TR benefits, advocacy, member profiles, safety, association governance and educational programming that will provide a foundation towards a successful business in real estate.
CE CLASSES:
We offer Continued Education Classes year round at discounted prices for members. License holders must meet Continuing Education (CE) requirements during each two- year license period. CE must include 4 hours of Legal Update I, 4 hours of Legal Update II, 3 hours of Contract-Related coursework, and 7 hours of elective CE courses for a total of 18 hours.
